Progress Update
Unfortunately I'm not as far as I had hoped (approx 1 'day' behind of where I had hoped to be), it now looks very unlikely that the Scotland Summer 2005 travelogue will be finished before I leave for the long weekend in Glasgow. Nevertheless I've made some good progress and completed a number of pages since Saturday afternoon:
- Walking in the north-east of Islay including walking up Sgarbh Breac, the highest hill in the area. Not really that high with 364m, but with great views.
- QTVR panorama of the view from Sgarbh Breac (just to prove the above)
- QTVR panorama of the raised beaches near Bholsa, when the sun broke through for some great views and colours
- Departure from Islay, all good things come to an end...
With that I've completed the pages from the stay on Islay, only the page for the day hillwalking to the summit of Beinn Narnain (and hopefully the odd QTVR panorama of the views) to complete now. Well, and possibly a page about the drive back to Swindon, but then I might skip that as it's not that exciting.
