Spell Checking Optional?
While I usually don't read BellaOnline - The Voice of Women on the Web I do take a look when my Google News Alert tells me they are mentioning Islay. They had a report titled "Scotland - World-Class Distilleries & Breweries". So far, so good. But then I read the thing and stumbled over all these:
- Bunnahabin - I think you'll find it's Bunnahabhain.
- Whiskey - No, it's Whisky, no e in it. Unless you're in America or Ireland. But we're talking of Scotland here.
- Cullin Ridge - I'd spell it Cuillin Ridge, but hey, I might be wrong there as I've seen both versions. Cullin Brewery is definitely wrong though, because the call themselves Cuillin Brewery...
- Talikser - Sorry, no, wrong again. It's Talisker
- Eradour - no, Edradour is Scotland's smallest distillery (well, at least for now, I suspect Kilchoman Distillery will be even smaller once it's fully operational)
Too much alcohol before writing it or too lazy to check the spelling of all the names? Anyway, I think that's enough spelling mistakes. (Yes, enough of it. Just hope you didn't make any. Ed.)
Update: Either someone told them or someone is reading logfiles. The mistakes are all fixed now.
