Back to Work

Large parts of this weekend were spent with the 'spring clear out' of parts of my CD collection. 11 CDs and 7 CD single fell victim of it and will soon go to a charity who can hopefully make some money from them. I also started with my book shelves, not sure yet how many books will go the same way as the CDs. I suspect it will be a substantial number. All this took quite a lot of time and all too soon the weekend was over, time to mentally prepare to get back to work. A good opportunity to post a bunch of work related links I collected in my bookmarks over the last few weeks:

My desk is usually quite empty, I try not to keep too much junk and old documents. Good to read Thomas Wailgum defending a clean desk.
My inbox is still too full for my liking, I should probably be even more radical with all the incoming junk (or finally read and implement Getting Things Done I've read various people raving about, which I believe addresses some of it)

Not really new, most of it is the same he already wrote in The Art of Deception, but Kevin Mitnick reminds that sometimes it pays to be 'impolite' to maintain security.
It is titled Three Myths of American Business, I think it might as well be called 'Three Myths of Business'.
