Even Faster Blogging
Only just over two months ago I upgraded my broadband connection to 1Mb. Looks like I will be blogging even faster soon. I'm still looking for the caveat, but the mail I received yesterday says the following:
We're always looking for ways to offer BT Yahoo! Broadband customers the best possible service, and that's why we're busy upgrading your line to 2Mb. That's twice your current speed. You will be pleased to know that, as a BT Yahoo! Broadband 1Mb customer, you'll receive this upgrade first. In addition, we're reducing your price for three months, giving you even better value.
This seems to be in line with the industry in the UK, as the BBC reports. Actually, there is one caveat: I'm not entirely sure, but I believe I'm still lagging behind my mother and my sister over in Germany. If I'm not mistaken they've both got 3Mb with T-Online, the German equivalent of BT Yahoo. May be I can keep up with the Joneses, but not with the family...
