Busy
Just so that you don't think that I've disappeared, I'm just quite busy at the moment:
The move is taking quite a lot of time, especially as I'm doing it on my own and in my own time. Yes, I could ask a few friends for help, but that wouldn't allow me to do the move the way I want to do it. I'm using the opportunity for a good cleanout, checking every single thing before I take into the new flat. The new flat is only about 1 minute walk from the old one, so this works quite well. It just takes a lot of time.
The new laptop is coming along nicely, most of the setup and copying of the files from the old one is now done. Hopefully I'll find some time this weekend to prepare at least one other page for my Scotland Summer 2003 travelogue. I'd also like to try how much faster I will be able to prepare panoramas, some of them took quite a while on my old laptop.
The Broadband connection in my old flat will be disconnected some time next week, let's see how long it will take BT to set it up in the new flat...
