president@whitehouse.gov

If you thought you could send an e-mail to the US President at president@whitehouse.gov and receive an answer, then think again. If you want an answer, you now have to go through White House Web Mail. But only if you are a US Citizen or resident, as the FAQ explains (supported by the address details form you have to complete, which only allows American addresses).

But then again, at least you can e-mail the US President, a facility to e-mail the UK Prime Minister "will be made available in August".

Only the German Bundeskanzler seems to be quite easy to reach by e-mail (as long as you speak German and don't use Mozilla)
