After my first Time Lapse Video of the Kennet and Avon Canal I thought I follow it up with another one in a similar vain. The location is actually almost identical (I moved the camera position by about 1 metre, but that's about it), but we're looking the other way. Last time the view was west with the canal disappearing into the distance towards Woolhampton. This time we're looking more east, towards the entrance to the lock at Aldermaston Wharf:
This video covers almost 7.5 hours on a late June afternoon and evening, ‘compressed’ into a minute. Looking at it that way made me realise how ‘busy’ the canal and the towpath actually is in the course of an afternoon. I'm even in it myself, watch for me in the red shirt loitering around the lock and the towpath from around 0:53 sec to around 0:55/0:56 seconds. Took me almost half an hour to show up for two or three seconds...
