Scottish Hillwalking Late In The Year

For the last few years I've been to Scotland for a long weekend in December: 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. With my current situation and the ongoing job hunt I don't know yet if I'll be able to visit this December. Should I be able to go and the weather be nice enough I already have an inspiration for a walk:

Hillwalk Scotland went on the Luss Horseshoe walk and took some great pictures of the views to the Arrochar Alps and over Loch Lomond. It's a walk I had read about and even considered, but so far haven't got round to.

But for now the job hunt has priority. I've had first successes and first disappointments over the last four weeks since I started applying for jobs in early October. Quite a few things in the pipeline at the moment, keep your fingers crossed that some of them will move forward.

I also need to try to keep some balance, so I'll try to carve out a bit more time for blogging and my websites. And with the weather forecast quite promising for the weekend I'll try to get out for a walk here in Wiltshire. Not as good as the Scottish Hills, but better than nothing.
