This And That
My 'to blog about' folder is very full again, time to use at least some of them before they go stale. Here you go, a few links I found interesting the last few days, I hope you find at least some of them interesting:
- Counties of Britain: Argyll & Bute, tomorrow in five weeks I'll be on my way to it again.
- Even faster blogging (although I'm not sure what I'm going to get): BT to increase broadband speeds from the 31st of March.
- I have downloaded and installed it earlier this evening, but haven't had much time to try the improvements: OpenOffice.org 2.0.2 now available for download. From the announcement:
It contains some nifty new features, fixes many small bugs and resolves numerous issues.
- Right now the weather forecast for the weekend is quite bad, so I'm not sure if I'm going to go anywhere. However, if I do get out I think I should try to visit at least one place from the Taste Trails in Wiltshire.
- Can't remember where I found it (possibly on Lifehacker), this could be an interesting blog: Email Overloaded - Itzy Sabo’s Views on Coping with Email Overload
- Serves (pun intended) him right: Chip litterbug faces double fine.
- The perils of growing older and older? ‘There we’ll be: 100 years old, skint, housebound, with prosthetic knees, someone else’s lungs and a wardrobe-sized medicine cabinet where the fridge once was’
- Another nice column in the Sunday Herald: The PM-in-waiting wants to teach the children a lesson in soldiering. The field trips could be interesting
(That's enough links! Get to bed, it's late. Ed.)
