2nd To Do Done, 3rd Under Way

The second item from my to do list for this week is done and the third one is under way, although it will take me quite a while to complete:

I've updated my Old Favourites and Frequent Topics page with a few entries I thought should be listed on it.

More importantly I've started working on the Beinn Narnain page for the Scotland Summer 2005 travelogue. There are 251 pictures to go through from that day, the two on the right might make it on to the page. The first one is a view from Arrochar over Loch Long to The Cobbler ('left', the rocky bit in the distance) and Beinn Narnain (right, behind the pier). Looks like there is raw material for a lot of panoramas, I hope some of them will work. As you can see from the two pictures the weather was fantastic on that day (20th of August), meaning the views were just amazing. As they say, watch this space.

But now it's time to go to bed, I've got to catch up on some sleep. I didn't get much sleep last night, thanks to A4 Security and Haines Watts Chartered Accountants. The burglar alarm at Haines Watts (their office is approx 50 yards from my flat) first went off some time in the evening, at that time I wasn't too bothered, especially as it stopped after a while. But then it went off again in the middle of the night, something like 3:15am. The alarm was going for at least 20min, a really horrible wailing sound, impossible to sleep through. Probably managed to get to sleep again some time after 4:00. But guess what? At approx 6:10 the thing started again! Another 20min of piercing noise and then trying to get to sleep again. Should I ever need an accountant it's unlikely to be Haines Watts (this wasn't the first time, although this was the worst so far).

(Get to bed then, tomorrow's another day. Ed.)
