Departure and Return

After a very nice long weekend together my parents left this morning. I only had a chance to talk with my mother very briefly over lunch today (they are on their way home while writing this), but it sounded like they had a very nice "flight" on the London Eye today. With my parents gone it's time to get back to some "proper blogging". A handful of links I found interesting:

First some kitten content. Combined with whisky content. Puss Idol hunt for distillery cat. I think I'll vote for Domino, should the public be allowed to vote.

This entry hasn't been written by a machine. But your next phone call might well be answered by a synthetic voice. Which might or might not understand you. Let alone solve your problem. But if it's in the name of cost saving most companies don't seem to care.

Not sure where I found this one and I don't fully agree with it either, but I still found it interesting. Don't get rich quick, Get Rich Slowly! Before you ask which part I don't subscribe to: I don't fully agree with the credit card comment. Yes, having debts on a credit card and paying interest on it is dumb as they charge ridiculous rates. But as long as you pay the bill in full before any interest becomes due I don't have a problem with them. They make life easier (e.g. by saving time I can spend on other things) and possibly even allow to save money.
