Blue, Orange, Magenta...

Apart from that they can't spell colour a very interesting read in E-Commerce Times: The Customers Are Color Blind. Especially because there is a limited number of colours and they also generate different associations with different people trying to associate a colour with your company might not work or even be counterproductive.

Companies going to court about the use of a particular colour just make me wonder if they don't have anything better to do and/or spend their money on. For example serving their customers, who probably don't care if their phone call is orange or magenta, if their flight is blue or orange or if their news are pink. They might not like to be mislead either, when their electricity is not bright yellow but more a dirty brown.
