That was bound to happen

Remember Tourist Guy? Soon after the 9/11 attacks the first faked pictures started to show up. Looks like similar pictures are now starting to appear after the Tsunami in Asia. Quite a few people have probably seen these pictures, especially after they were linked by Boing Boing. Quite a few other blogs also link to it according to Technorati.

There's only one problem with them: Most likely they are fake or from a completely different event. And there's more: As of writing this entry the status is "undetermined", but to me this picture looks definitely fake.

I don't get it. Why are people doing this? Isn't the reality horrible enough? Haven't we seen enough shocking pictures?
