Carlisle
Before I left I had planned not to blog at all while I'm away. But then the drive today went quite well and I arrived quite a bit earlier than expected. In addition to that the Travel Inn Carlisle offers WiFi at a quite reasonable price. So I thought let's quickly post something and surf the web before going to bed.
At least the Met Office weather forecast looks quite promising, so I hope to be out on the hills latest on Friday. If the fog (I expect there to be some tomorrow) lifts early enough and I make it up to somewhere near Loch Lomond early enough (the only area I have any maps to hand for) I might even give it a try tomorrow.
More later. May be. I know where a Starbucks with WiFi is near my hotel in Glasgow...
But now it's time for a Hot Chocolate before I surf a bit more and then go to bed.
