More Scots reading

During the recent Language Week I attempted to post in Scots, apparently reasonably successful. Through an exiled Dundonian I've just found that the Scottish Parliament website is also available in Scots (or at least part of it). Not sure how much I can learn from it, but I'm sure I can pick up a few things despite some possible flaws: A mean, whit's this aboot "This section o wir wabsite"? Whit the hay-rile's [I've no idea if the use of hair oil as an expletive had currency beyond the Lettice family] wrang wi 'pairt'?

I wonder what the other exiled Dundonian has to say about it and if hay-rile was/is widely used in his family? I hope we'll be told once he's back in the kitchen.
