Schadenfreude
Oh, the irony...
Yesterday evening I was listening to BBC Radio Five Live when Germany lost to the Czech Republic and went out of Euro 2004. I don't remember which one it was, but one of the commentators said he couldn't help to feel some "Schadenfreude". Later someone (may be the same commentator) joked this would make sure England wouldn't lose to Germany on penalties.
Well, I'm afraid I can't stop some "Schadenfreude" myself now, as England just crashed out of Euro 2004. Obviously not against Germany, but against Portugal. And guess what: On penalties...
