- I'm not sure if I should believe this: Microsoft deactivates ActiveX. As of Service Pack 2 apparently. That will break a lot of sites I guess, aren't a lot of plugins based on ActiveX being turned on?
- Bright outlook for digital cameras writes the BBC. And proclaims the MegaPixel race to be pretty much over, at least for end users. Instead the focus is moving to camera features. Probably true, although I feel featuritis has already gone too far in some cases.
- Kids say: Modern pop music is rubbish. They prefer some of the old rockers: The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, AC/DC, Queen, Led Zeppelin, etc pp. (via Techdirt)
- New and improved: OpenOffice.org 1.1.1 released today
- I think it's time to clean up my desk again...
