Gone Phishing
Today I received a mail from "MBNA Europe", telling me about a "Regular MBNA verification":
Only, there were a few strange things about this mail:
- I had never heard of "MBNA Europe" before, let alone am I a customer of them
- The mail was sent to an address that I used to register and post in a forum, from where it was picked up by e-mail harvesters. It was never (and will never be) used in a business transaction
- The whole mail was one link, the image you see above was just one link. And that led to this here:

%33/%6D/%69%6E%64%65%78%2E%68%74%6D - The mail came with an "X-RBL-Warning: This mail has been received from a dialup host". I don't know of too many banks who send their e-mail via dialup
Obviously some phishing scam (of which MBNA is probably aware). Nice try, whoever is behind this. Try harder next time. Or try the same lame old trick again and I'll have something to post here...
