The Euro - what a failure?
How times can change: I still remember the headlines when the Euro was falling to all time lows soon after it was introduced. There was discussion about the failure of the Euro. It didn't look good.
And now?
Euro hits all time high. BusinessWeek writes a very positive "Happy Birthday Dear Euro" piece. Not such a failure then. Even when the No Euro campaign doesn't get it. May be they get it when the 10 new countries start joining the Euro in a few years time? Or when the Euro-zone companies start exploiting the cost advantages the Euro gives them? I think it's only a question of time...
