- The Sunday Herald reports criminal blunders.
- Muriel Gray rants about blame culture and the internet.
- Still in the Sunday Herald, a report about a tour of the Highlands and islands of Scotland by The Proclaimers. Note to self: The new album is due to be released in September.
- A miniature Shetland pony reported by BBC News
- Der Spiegel from Germany writes about holidays on narrowboats in England.
- Is President Bush trying to unleash his Weapons of Mass Destruction? Once the ozone layer is destroyed we won't have to worry about terrorists any more...
- John Naughton questions the success of e-government in The Observer.
- Let's blame the French then: The Niger Uranium secret intelligence apparently came from France. Does that mean Freedom Fries will soon be French Fries again? Or will the French be blamed for wrong intelligence? Who knows?
