What I found interesting today
A few things I found interesting today, from interview questions to an alleged European Gun Culture:
- Business 2.0 about interview questions and hidden agendas...
- That was bound to happen: Work longer to secure pensions? Well, may be we have to. But then again, will there be enough work? How will people work longer if there is already unemployment?
- European gun culture? Hm. Somehow this doesn't add up: The headline screams "The figures which show Europe's gun culture rivals US". And then the numbers says that in the US there are 11.3 firearm related deaths per 100,000 while England/Wales have 0.3 and Germany 1.5. In the US the gun ownership is at 83-96 per 100 inhabitants while it is 17.4 in the EU with 10 in the UK. Looks like a huge gap to me...
- Conflict of interest: Fighting spam -vs- Accessibility for the visually impaired (via TechDirt). I hope my contact form is accessible for visually impaired visitors (spambots can't harvest my e-mail address from it).
Enough to think about for an evening. I hope you found it interesting as well.
