Mid week reading
A few articles I found interesting today:
- BusinessWeek writes about Amazon's web services and how it opens its data to developers. Both sides win: The developers can implement new and innovative services while Amazon reaches more customers.
- It's not really news, I've had the MSNBot visiting my sites for quite a while now. ZDNet has a quite detailed analysis about a potential challenge from Microsoft to Google. Rumour has it that they will integrate this new search engine into the Windows version. The question I haven't seen covered anywhere yet is what AntiTrust law says about this? Wouldn't this somehow be illegal?
- Want a pay rise? Then threaten to leave. Apparently. Only one risk there: What if your boss answers: Good riddance...
- The war in Iraq is over. Or has it just begun? Only the other way around? What will the warbloggers say?
- Much better than Burgers and "Freedom" Fries: The New York Times discovers Scottish cuisine. I'll be enjoying it again in a months time...
That's enough online reading for today, time for a cold beer and a book. More tomorrow.
