Smart seat?

A company has developed smart seats which can detect DVT. At least that's what they claim. I suspect they cost a fortune to implement and probably won't work for half of the time. I can think of a cheaper option: Just build seats which are big enough and give people some leg room so that they can actually move in their seats. Especially if they are 1:93m tall like me.
