Sing a Song
Inspired by this blog entry about cover versions I remembered that Travis a few years ago covered a Britney Spears song. Good old Google led me to this site: travisography. Which in turn led me to a few great cover versions Travis have played over the last few years:
- Baby One More Time (Live 1999-08-06), I think that's the version of the Britney Spears cover I remembered from a CD single I have
- Baby One More Time (Live 2000-06-26), a slightly bigger file including an interview with the history of how they came to play it
- Here Comes The Sun (Live 2001-11-30), nice cover version of this classic
- Killer Queen, don't think Fran Healy sings this as well as Freddie Mercury, but somehow I like it
- Space Oddity (Live 2000-06-24), they don't know half of the words, but then the improvisation is just fantastic (some kind of backstage thing at Glastonbury)
