Travelogue update
Progress is not as fast as I had hoped for, but I think good enough for a quick update and shameless plug.
The first five pages of my Islay Walking Week 2004 travelogue are complete and online for your viewing pleasure. They are:
- Not the most exciting part, but it had to be done, the drive from Swindon to Islay
- The longest walk we participated in during the week, Lossit and the Sound of Islay. Great views and wildlife
- Solam and Callumkill with nice views, carved faces and wishing wells
- Unfortunately not the best weather, but the walk to Proaig was still great. Also interesting interviewing techniques by a radio broadcaster
- No walking but still nice, the Visitors Welcome Evening. Unfortunately without sound
Now I'm working on the two pages for the day on neighbouring Jura, I hope to have them online within the next 2-3 days. To an extent it depends on the weather tonight: If it's nice I'll try to get out to see the lunar eclipse and take a few pictures. If it's raining (which is likely) I'll have more time to work on the travelogue tonight.
